RussellStone Protein is a Processing Plant specializing in Soya Crushing and production of associated products. Our plant was imported from Europe which gives us the upper-hand in South-Africa. Our plant currently processes up to 700 tons of soybeans per day and 240 000 tons per annum. To date, our main product offering has been soya oil cake, mainly used in animal feed, thus, focusing on the animal feed industry. Our plant is of European origin and this allows RSProtein to produce products that meet and comply to international standards. We do not compromise on quality.

RussellStone Protein originated as a division from within the the RussellStone Group. The RussellStone Group is prominent player in the local agricultural, financial services and energy value chain. Our goal is to create new and sustainable opportunities and we realize this through passion, service and integrity.

As with all business ventures there was a learning curve. The right soya, the right supplier and transport was critical to the business’s operations and success and not to mention the right pricing structure.

Our greatest strength is our flexibility. We work with a team of enthusiastic, dedicated individuals, to ensure that deliveries meet customer demand, by sea, air or road. In addition we have the required management expertise to project manage complete contracts.

RussellStone Protein currently has its head office in Bronkhorstspruit and most of its day-to-day operations run from this office.
